This Refund Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and cancellations for products and services offered by Vidyaro Education Private Limited (“Vidyaro”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) through our website www.vidyaro.com, mobile applications, and related platforms (collectively, the “Platform”).

All purchases on our Platform are FINAL. We strongly encourage you to carefully review course details, descriptions, curriculum, and pricing before making any purchase. By proceeding with payment, you acknowledge and accept this Refund Policy.
Digital Products - Non-Refundable
NO REFUNDS for Digital Products
As per the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and Indian laws governing digital goods, all digital products and services are NON-REFUNDABLE once access has been granted or the product has been delivered.
Digital products include, but are not limited to:
- Online Courses: All live classes, recorded lectures, and online programs
- Video Lectures: Pre-recorded or live-streamed educational videos
- Study Materials: Digital PDFs, e-books, notes, and downloadable content
- Test Series: Online tests, mock exams, and practice papers
- Digital Subscriptions: Access to premium content and course subscriptions
- Course Access: Once you gain access to any course content, it is considered delivered
Legal Basis
Under Indian law, digital goods and services that have been accessed, downloaded, or utilized cannot be returned or refunded. Once course access is granted or content is viewed/downloaded, the sale is considered final and complete.
Physical Products - Limited Refund Policy
Refunds ONLY for Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Products
For physical products such as books, study materials, and educational kits, we offer a limited 7-day refund policy in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Refund eligibility for physical products:
- Damaged Product: Item received with physical damage (torn pages, broken binding, etc.)
- Defective Product: Product has manufacturing defects or printing errors
- Wrong Product: Received a different product than what was ordered
- Incomplete Order: Missing items from the order (quantity mismatch)
NOT Eligible for Refund
- •Change of mind or no longer needed
- •Found a cheaper alternative elsewhere
- •Product not meeting personal expectations (if not defective)
- •Used, marked, written in, or damaged by customer
- •Return request made after 7 days of delivery
- •Missing original packaging, wrapper, or delivery invoice
How to Request a Refund
For eligible physical product refunds, follow these steps:
Contact Us Within 7 Days
Email us at support@vidyaro.com within 7 days of receiving the product. Include your order number, product details, and reason for refund.
Provide Proof of Damage/Defect
Send clear photographs showing the damage, defect, or wrong product. Include images of packaging, delivery label, and the issue.
Await Approval
Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days and notify you via email about approval or rejection.
Return the Product
If approved, return the product in its original condition with all packaging, accessories, and invoice to the address provided.
Receive Refund
Once we receive and inspect the returned product, your refund will be processed within 7-10 business days.
Refund Processing Time & Method
- •Processing Time: 7-10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned product
- •Refund Method: Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during purchase
- •Bank Processing: Additional 3-5 business days may be required for the bank to credit the amount
- •Deductions: Refunds may be subject to deductions for return shipping costs, payment gateway charges (2-3%), or handling fees as applicable
- •Notification: You will receive email confirmation once the refund is initiated and completed
Failed or Duplicate Transactions
If payment was deducted but course access was not granted due to technical issues:
- •Contact us immediately at support@vidyaro.com with transaction details
- •Provide payment confirmation, transaction ID, and screenshot of the failed transaction
- •We will either grant access or process a full refund within 7-10 business days
For duplicate charges or accidental multiple payments: Full refund of the duplicate amount will be processed within 7-10 business days after verification.
No Partial Refunds or Transfers
- No partial refunds for courses, even if you have only attended/viewed some portion of the content
- Course enrollments cannot be transferred to another person or another course
- No refunds for subscription renewals if you forget to cancel before renewal date
- No refunds due to change in personal circumstances (relocation, schedule conflicts, etc.)
Exceptional Circumstances
Vidyaro reserves the right to issue refunds at our discretion in the following exceptional cases:
- •Course/batch cancelled or postponed indefinitely by Vidyaro
- •Significant technical issues on our end preventing course access for extended periods
- •Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, government actions) preventing service delivery
- •Service closure or permanent unavailability of purchased content
Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India, specifically the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
